【感謝日本第二波友誼疫苗】
今天日本外務大臣茂木敏充宣布追加提供台灣113萬劑疫苗，我們再次誠摯感謝日本相助。
我們都還記得，不久前收到日本疫苗時的感動，更令人覺得暖心的，是看到自己的長輩接種疫苗的那個當下，頓時卸下心中的擔憂。
圖中的黃阿嬤，今年81歲了，是接種日本捐贈疫苗的長輩之一。她很開心有來自日本的疫苗；她想要早點注射，是為了早點有保護力，也希望可以盡快回到跟老鄰居作伴聊天的日常。
來自日本的友情疫苗，讓台灣的醫護人員及長輩們獲得了即時的保護，成為保護台灣人民的力量。
真心感謝日本。我們也要藉此機會，為在靜岡縣熱海市土石流事件中不幸罹難的人們祈求冥福，也希望受到災害影響的人們，生活能盡快恢復正常。

【日本からの『友情のワクチン』第二弾に感謝！】
日本の茂木敏充外務大臣は本日（7/6）、新型コロナウイルスワクチン113万回分を台湾へ追加提供することを明らかにしました。私たちは改めて、日本に心から感謝いたします。
日本から最初のワクチンが届いたときの感動を、私たちはまだ覚えています。なにより私たちの胸を熱くしたのは、ワクチン接種を受けることで、台湾の高齢者たちから感染症に対する不安が少しずつ消えていったことでした。
写真の女性は81歳の黄おばあちゃんです。日本からワクチンが届いたことを喜び、一刻も早く接種したいと思ったそうです。それは、早く抗体を付けたいと思ったのと同時に、一日も早くご近所さんたちとの正常な日々を取り戻したいと思ったからです。おばあちゃんがワクチンを接種してくれて、家族もホッとしたそうです。
日本からやってきた「友情のワクチン」は、台湾の医療従事者や高齢者たちをウイルスから守り、台湾の人々を守るパワーにもなっています。
日本の皆様、本当にありがとうございます。そしてこの場をお借りして、静岡県熱海市で発生した土石流により被害に遭われた皆さまに、心よりお見舞い申し上げます。この災害によって影響を受けた方々が、一日も早く日常を取り戻せるよう祈っています。

MOFA would once again like to thank our like-minded partner in #Japan for the second batch of over a million vaccines donated to #Taiwan due to arrive here on July 8!
The government and the people of Taiwan are grateful for yet another show of solidarity from the Japanese government, a paradigm of the #RockSolid friendship between our two nations.
Solidarity and mutual trust are the only way we can #EndThisPandemic and save lives, like those of people like 81-year-old Mrs. Huang here, who was eager to get one of the vaccines donated by Japan so that she can get back to socializing with neighbors and friends as soon as possible.
We'd also like to take this opportunity to express our ongoing sorrow and concern over the landslides in Shizuoka Prefecture. We hope that those whose lives were taken can rest in peace and those affected see a return to normality soon.

Kobe beef (神戸ビーフ Kōbe bīfu) (KO-BEH) refers to beef from the Tajima strain of Wagyu cattle, raised in Japan's Hyogo Prefecture according to rules as set out by the Kobe Beef Marketing and Distribution Promotion Association. The meat is a delicacy renowned for its flavor, tenderness, and fatty, well-marbled texture. Kobe beef can be prepared as steak, sukiyaki, shabu shabu, sashimi, and teppanyaki. Kobe beef is generally considered one of the three top brands (known as Sandai Wagyuu, "the three big beefs"), along with Matsusaka beef and Ōmi beef or Yonezawa beef.
Kobe beef is also called Kobe niku (神戸肉, "Kobe meat"), Kobe-gyu (神戸牛) or Kobe-ushi (神戸牛, "Kobe cattle") in Japanese.
Wagyu (和牛 Wagyū, "Japanese cow") is any of four Japanese breeds of beef cattle, the most desired of which is genetically predisposed to intense marbling and to producing a high percentage of oleaginous unsaturated fat. The meat from such wagyu cattle is known for its quality, and commands a high price. In several areas of Japan, wagyu beef is shipped carrying area names. Some examples are Matsusaka beef, Kobe beef, Yonezawa beef, Mishima beef, Omi beef and Sanda beef.
There are four breeds of wagyu: Japanese Black (黒毛和種 Kuroge Washu), Japanese Brown (赤毛和種 Akage Washu or Akaushi), Japanese Polled (無角和種 Mukaku Washu), and Japanese Shorthorn (日本短角和種 Nihon Tankaku Washu). Wagyu cattle's genetic predisposition yields a beef that contains a higher percentage of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids than typical beef. The increased marbling also increases the ratio of monounsaturated fats to saturated fats.
Japanese Black makes up 90% of all fattened cattle in Japan. Strains of Japanese Black include Tottori, Tajima, Shimane and Okayama. Japanese Brown, also known as Japanese Red, is the other main breed; strains include Kochi and Kumamoto. Japanese Shorthorn makes up less than one percent of all cattle in Japan.

- Gujo Hachiman, also known as the Water City! It's just about in the middle of Gifu Prefecture, and I highly, highly recommend visiting!! It's a mountain city with rivers running through the middle. There are koi fish everywhere, you can jump into the water, and the are tons of old-fashioned stores with awesome things to look at. I absolutely loved it!
